About Me
I’m a proud first-generation college student, who aspires to become a leader who uplifts others, serves as a role model, and pays forward the support I have received throughout my journey. Coaching and servant leadership are applied throughout my personal and professional experiences, as I believe having patience, being active listener, and helping others grow is important. Community is especially important to me, as I’m committed to guiding and empowering individuals who may face challenges similar to my own.
Mission Statement
“Excite my soul and feed my spirit”
Exciting my soul means to live my life to the fullest and taking advantage of all the opportunities given to me. Feeding my spirit involves always having faith that whatever is put in my journey is meant for me to reach my maximum potential. I want my friends and family to remember me by my laughs and my amazing jokes, and as the person who is there for them when they need it. And who will continue to do so through spirit.
Personal Value Statement
“Fe, raices, y risas” → “Faith, roots, laughter”
My Godfather is someone I truly admire and love as he guides my decisions through life. As he passed away, he reminds me not to take anything for granted and work hard towards my future, all while being humble and kind to others. My parents have shaped who I am by raising me to have a strong work ethic and be proud of my identity.
Personal Leadership Statement
“Be the person you needed”
Be the person that people feel comfortable going to. Communicating within relationships is important to me because this way everyone is heard, and are effectively there for each other. My biggest strength is my listening skills and retaining the information I’ve heard; when people remember what I have told them, it makes me feel seen, and I’d like to reciprocate the feeling for others.
